If my mom would've been a stripper I don't know how my life would've turned out. I have to admit I watch Dr.Phil and this mother was a stripper. I don't understand why any women would even consider doing that. I was raised to treat women as if they were my own mother and I am very protective over my little sister. If she ever decided to do this ... I would do everything in my power to get her to stop. So why do girls think stripping is an option?

Stripping would not even be an option if you men would stop frequenting the clubs and handing over your hard earned money.

First, let me ask u a question "do all people have a right 2 choose"? I don't strip an would not want my daughter 2 strip but i respect others right 2 do so, not only that- read this very slow "if there were not men out there paying 4 it-there would b no strippers." One hand washes the other, women do it cause of money,attention, college, cause they want 2, etc Men do it 2 enjoy looking at women, sexual turn-on, fantasy, lust, their women won't strip at home etc. A woman should never b forced 2 do it, it don't bother some women 2 do it morally an some women feel it's their only option 2 feed their kids an not get on welfare an ride the system. I understand your moral issue (u seem 2 respect women) but don't b 2 quick 2 judge--an with a bro like u , of course not your sis would never do it an thank God 4 that.U love her, respect her and is there 4 her -all women don't have that.

Some women see this option as a way of earning 'good' money- the tips are what keep them going.
The answer would be to take advantage of educational opportunities, but that is a challenge- finding sitters and paying for the education and taking time off from work to do so.
This is not a very good option, too many chances for injury, assault and who knows what.
My guess is that the women want the fast and the easy money.

I do not do this as a living however, some friends of mine do its great pay, you can pick your schedule nights days afternoons whatever your there for your kids when they leave for school home when their home you only work 4 to 6 hour shifts but you get paid like 12 hour shifts.
some would work 3 days a week make $1000 and still get to be in the PTA.
I could do it if I wanted to, but no money is worth the disrepect people give you. I se what my friends get and I couldn't deal with it.
There are some women who do this and do not act like the white trash you see on TV they are actually very classy ladies and to look at them in public, you would never know what their job was.

from my experiences at the club, every girl has a sob story for why she is working there.....and it is always a temporary thing. of course others say they only come up with these lame stories about being desperate for money so guys will feel sorry for them and give them a bigger tip. some girls just like the money compared to what they would be making at a normal job. for others, it is exciting too. the girls i've gotten to know really dislike dancing in front of 3 guys that are just smoking a cigar and checking them out. they would much rather have 80 guys around yelling and cheering them on. it's an attention thing for some of them.

its an easy way for a high school dropout to make up to 6 figures a year, which means a nice house in the burbs, a good car and an oppertunity to send their kids to a good school. money talks i hear where your comming from but to some of them the idea of being naked around a bunch of scummy guys dosnt really bother them, or even if it does the money makes it worth it to them. u shouldnt judge somones choices like that, if they think its the best choice for them then im not going to argue w/ them.

Because they make really big money for a little bit of actual work.
They think the indignities they have to put up is just a small price they're willing to pay.

What do you have against strippers? I am not a religious man, but, if I was, I would bow down and thank god for them every day. They are anglse of mercy and joy.

They need to make money. Some of them can't afford to get educated so they have no other choice.
