would beckham being in the squad make a difference?
Hundred thousand pounds a week and they can't even win....

Your answer is in your question, they aren't a "team" they're a bunch of blokes who can play great football just not together.
There needs to be a serious shake up of the whole team with some players being dropped even if they are blue eyed boys (even though they haven't scored a goal for England in god knows how long) and others being played where they are best not just where the manager thinks they should go.

Because there seems to be no passion.
When other teams players pull on the shirt they seem to play with passion for there country. Ours don't. They seem to want to get back and play for money.
Beckaham is the worst of them, he has effectivly retired.
We play too many players out of posistion.
We had the best squad in ages at the last world cup, other teams off form and we played awful. The players blew it.
Can't blame manager too much. The players win and lose matches for you.

They go out there thinking like they are the best team on the planet but when it comes to performing like it they dont show up at all. That happens when you get too cocky. To be the best you got to play your best against all competition, from the likes of Italy and Germany to the likes of Latvia and Israel.

The are paid to much and are more interest in their social life even though they love football, fame has come to quickly to immature young men.
