Grammer Grammer : using "some" with singular noun, like " man, or woman."
e.g. Someman/somewoman asked about you. instead of
Somebody/someone asked about you.

It is correct as two words:
"Some man asked about you."
"Some woman asked about you."

No, you can't use "someman or somewoman" as one word. "Someone or Somebody" is already a compounded word. You have to use "some" and "man/woman" as two separate words. And BTW it also sounds funny when you say "some man", just say "somebody" or "a man".

Using some man or woman is clumsy use of English. Why can't you just say "a" man? And you definitely can't use "someman" like you would "someone".
