Take 'x' to be the number of minutes in a portion.
So, you have 4 times x for the entertainment portion and just x for the advertisement portion. These two add to give you 60 minutes in total.

4x+x=60
5x = 60
x = 60/5 = 12

Since x is for advertisement potion, x is going to be 12 minutes.

Let a= advertisement

e = 4a

a + e = 60

a + 4a = 60

5a = 60
