Community service?

Can you get what you have been assigned changed. I got to do mine on a work crew close to the place where I started a new job. I don't think it would be great for them to see me doing that out front so wondering would they normally let you do your hours somewhere else?

You are expected to do exactly as you are told in order to avoid being breached, but if you went to your supervisor and explained the position, perhaps hinting that your colleagues might cause disruption, you might get a sympathetic hearing. Otherwise, wear a woolly hat pulled down low and hope that nobody spots you. Good luck!
