i just found out a new worker is getting paid more than me... we of course we are not supposed to talk about pay at work because we can get fired, but my friend is the one that just told me about it. Him and i are in two different departments... he is CSR the minimum is 10.50 he is getting paid 16.75... i in the other hand work as CSR3 and work for loan officers, i been with the company for about 3 yrs now and he has been here for 6 months.... he is also friends with the VP in my department her and his mom are bf... what can be done in this situation without getting fired?

Nothing. Welcome to the world! Sux but you can't do anything about it without having to explain how you know and then you have a big can of worms opened. Just deal with it. Does he speak a 2nd language or anything? That may be the reason he's paid more. Or he may have extensive experience. Your friend could be BS-ing you too. Sorry.
