My iPod has been working one day although not the other. It freezes a lot, a lot of problems, weird icons keep poping out. I am going to an apple store today to replace it today because it has warranty still. Although today is the type of day that the ipod works. How can i convince the guy that i need a new ipod?

Just tell them the problems your having with it and see what they say.
By the way, have you tried resetting it?

They will probably send it out for warrenty repair and you will get another one (refurbished). You do not get the same one back so all your songs are gone.
