YES! Ive gained 10 lbs since ive been living with my boyfriend. Im a horse trainer and extra weight is not a good thing for me since i work with smaller horses.
When we first started dating i barely ate anything. Mostly becase i didnt want to look like a fat pig when he was around!!
Now my boyfriend and I have been together for 2 years and have lived together for 7 months. Hes a larger man, he is a truck driver so good food isnt always readily available. When he's home i prepare all healthy meals 3 times a day. But im finding that while i make em im eating the stuff im preparing and then eating it as lunch or dinner too! I have gained 10 pounds since living with him, i told him how much i hated it.
Now we go to the gym together, we are getting more fit and spending some good time together, so maybe those extra pounds gained, just brought us a little closer!

I am a man and i had put weight when living in love with a woman is this is because you enjoy more watching tv, eating better and you are more relaxed cause you already have love and sex, at the same time you have much better life generally smoking less and being more happy.
To put weight is something not that bad execpt if goes out of control, these days the media tell you that you have to be Brad Pitt or Charles Atlas all the time and not neccesarilly your goals in life have to be that.
I insist that weight still under normal levels...

Yes, if you pick up their habits which may not be healthy. Or just eat the same portion size they do. I've finally lost the weight which I attribute to marriage and probably was a combination of the above. Others are
There are many reasons why marriage can lead to weight gain, but the most common include:
We are no longer trying to attract a partner
Pregnancy occurs
We cook for gratification
We eat as much as our partner
We put our family's eating preferences above our own
We become the family's garbage disposal
Our partner sabotages us
We are in an unhappy marriage and turn to food for solace
We have unresolved issues

Yes. And it is because we begin to eat what they eat and as we don't need as many calories, we will gain weight. I put on 10 pounds after 1 year but no more and it's been 3 years now. I call it my "happy" weight. HA HA.

Ive been living with my fiance for the past 2 yrs.. and i have noticed that i gained a lot of weight during the first year.. i think stress is a big factor in this as well as getting used to each others eating habits.. my fiance is a country boy and loves the very fatty foods. I'm Asian and i enjoy lots of veggies, rice, and things that are good for me.
I have been attempting to watch what i eat for the past year... and ive expanded his taste for healthier things..
but my weight still fluctuates.. still trying to find a good median between the foods we enjoy

We both put on weight. We got too comfortable hanging out at home together, eating way too much, and not getting out as much as we used to. It just happens that way sometimes.

No, I stay the same, it's the man that gains weight, as I love to cook big fancy meals for dinner, and the man to please me eats alot to compliment the chef. I do like my men with meat on their bones, so I am not complaining.

I've lost 1/2-1 stone since I moved in with him. He's much healthier too- he eats vegetables now- I'm so proud! But I just don't eat chocolate as much as I used to, I just haven't needed it since I moved in with him!

yeah. we got lazy & encouraged each other to eat crap. like two little kids, we'd just eat & giggle with each other, all the while saying how bad we were. i stopped it tho. started buying groceries & cooking dinner. saved tons of $ & we both lost weight. went for almost 2 months w/o takeout. was hard at first but we both felt so much healthier.
