The first two answers got it right. Scrub your nails with whitening toothpaste and let sit for a minute. Then to prevent it use two coats of a clear base/top coat polish. P.S- It's usually just dark colors that do it.

the nail salon that i work in carries this stuff called nail brite, it won't bleach them completely however, you really need to use a basecoat before you polish and then a top coat after you polish to make the color last longer. just make sure you let each coat dry before putting the next coat on.

try soaking a face pad with nail varnish and hold it on the nail for about 3-4 mins, then in a downwards stroke cleanse the nail.

Im not exactly sure how to get rid of it but in cosmotology they taught us how to prevent it. All you have to is put on a coat of the clear polish and let it dry, then put on the color of your choice and the problems solved

it has to just come off. You can prevent it by using a clear base but also a higher quality paint
