I like the names Hunter and Gunnar. Sort of hunting names I know but they sound so cool. I think it is a very cool name. I mean my friend HATES hunting and has the name Hunter but he still likes his name. I like it is nice and cool!

Funny you should ask. Yesterday my nine year old was talking about "his" friend name Hunter. For some reason my four year old thought it was a weird name to give someone. He kept asking, "what do you mean "hunter"? Is he hunting for something? What is he trying to find? ............... Until he said that, I always thought "Hunter" was an okay name for a boy.

I like the name Hunter. I'm not sure it's a name I'd use for a child of my own, but it's a nice name. Sorry you're dealing with dumb comments!

I love Hunter. It is really popular here. Last year we had 5 Hunter's in our preschool.

I have the same thing with my son, Chase. They ask him, are you going to be a banker? Work at Chase Bank? OR, I bet you are always chasing Chase! We just smile like we haven't heard it all before. :)

Cute name! SD

I used to like this name but I think it is way to overused now. I teach school and there at least 5 boys named Hunter in our small school of just child development through 2nd grade.
