You'll get your $$ back, eventually. Dealing with Paypal can be a huge hassle though...they have absolutely dreadful customer service most of the time.

Ebay's policy on seller non-performance:

And here are Ebay's buyer protection programs...

http://pages.ebay.ca/help/tp/isgw-buyer-protection-steps.html

They list the steps you should take there, so do check it out ASAP.

Good luck.

You need to go through their channels & there's no telling how long it will take for ebay to figure it out. Make sure you're giving the item enough time to get to you - try contacting the seller & if that didn't work, leave a bad review, contact the ebay help site and they'll lead you from there.

Open a dispute. If the seller has any intention of staying on eBay, he will probably try to resolve it so it doesn't affect his rating. But eBay won't go after him for buyers' money, you can be sure of that. The most they will do is shut him down.

Whether you get your money back might depend on how you paid. If you paid by paypal, your bank or credit card company, contact them.

Its called a Buyer Protection Programs. If you buy an item using PayPal and either do not receive the item or receive an item that you believe is Significantly Not as Described by the seller, you are encourage you to open a Dispute with the seller in our Resolution Center. By doing so, you will initiate our Online Dispute Resolution Process—a step-by-step system designed to facilitate communication between you and the seller in order to get resolution of the issue. If your dialogue with the seller fails to produce a satisfactory result, you can then escalate the Dispute into a Claim that they will evaluate for reimbursement under one of the following programs:

PayPal Buyer Complaint Policy - Their best efforts program to reimburse Users for losses only to the extent they are able to recover the funds from sellers.
PayPal Buyer Protection Policy - Their program to reimburse Users for losses for up to $2,000.00 USD (Top Tier Converage Amount) for eligible items purchased on eBay and up to $200.00 USD (Basic Tier Coverage Amount) for all other eligible items purchased on eBay.
Buyer Protection for eBay Express - Their program to reimburse Users for the full amount of losses for items purchased on eBay Express.
Extended Buyer Protection with PayPal Credit - Their program to reimburse Users for the full amount of losses for items purchased using the PayPal Plus Credit Card or PayPal Buyer Credit.

These programs only cover payments for tangible, physical goods. All other payments, such as payments for intangibles, services, airline flight tickets, or licenses and other access to digital content are not covered by any Buyer Protection Program that we offer (but may be covered by Chargeback rights).
So yes...we are all covered buying and selling. I have been an ebay member for about 4 years and I have one right now in Dispute Resolution Process and so far it has taken over a month and still trying to recover my moneys.

i kno... it sux but they can! try calling the number for the seller, and unless u really want to file a law suit, u just got ripped off. my uncle once bought sumthing for 200 bucks and never caught them. just try being more careful next time. send them an email to ask them a question and see if they answer. look at the comments from the previous buyers.also, try finding the product on amazon as it is more secure.
