I have one that a friend gave me. At first it looked ill and had some kind of mold in the dirt. I replanted it and watered it all winter and now it is starting to look pretty good. My question is - How big will it get?

Good job on getting your Maranta (Prayer Plant) to recover! Obviously you have figured out that it doesn't like to ever dry out; if you do end up having to repot due to size, just remember that the Maranta likes 2 parts peat moss, 1 part sand, 1 part loam.
(http://www.plantoftheweek.org/week123.shtml) Feed regularly with a good 3-1-2 ratio of fertilizer.

As to height at maturity, it will be 12"-18". (http://www.backyardgardener.com/plantname/pd_89eb.html)

Happy Gardening!
