She always wore an apron around the house, and it always had a pocket. That she kept her smokes in and a box of matches. When she know my grandad was coming home, she would take off her apron. And go fix her hair and put on bright red lipstick and her pearl necklace. She was so short (not very tall) and had a GREAT sense of humor. And every one loved her.

I had one Grandma that always said what was on her mind and was more honest than Lincoln. My other Grandma was just as nice as she could be and cooked only five different meals, they were all delicious and she just didn't like to experiment.

My mother's Mom died the year, before I was born and my father's Mom lived down in Georgia, and couldn't pronounce my name if it killed her, when she did visit us in Ct.
I remember my Grandfather though...(My mom's dad.) He lived in Connecticut, also. Wasn't a bad egg...Drove fast for an old guy. He pastored the church, we went to. He was in the hospital (with cancer), the day my husband and I got married, so we went to the hospital to see him, after we left the church, in our wedding outfits.

My grandparents are still alive and very kind. My two grandmothers, my mom's mom and my dad's mom (not a lesbion thing if you were wondering) make soup and cookies. My grandfather takes me fishing with my brother. My other grandfather lets me be with his horses. My grandparents also spoil me.

Mine is still around, she's 80 and her mind is going. She is extremely clingy so I don't enjoy being around her.
