The price of a PS3 is actually a cheap price for a gaming system with the cababilities of Blue Ray (HIGH DEF) It shouldn't come down at all for some time.

Sony is making a loss from PS3 base sales so not soon. When the cell processor and blu-ray component prices come down maybe.

According to G4 TV they are supposed to drop the price $100 by october, I saw it on TV last week

i reckon by christmans they will come also did you here about the people in london who were robbed when they bought ps3 when they first came out the people bought them from game in london at 12am when they walked round the corner they got jumped and had there ps3 stolen how gutted would you be

i dont think so but if they r they will, probably bring it down by like $20 or $50 but no higher than that of coures

ps3 prices will drop when ppl stop buying them more often. theyll rise up again if there is high demand for it.

It should go down to at least half it's price in the next year or two but i don't think so by november. The PS2 dropped very much in half a year so you might get lucky. I'm thinking of getting one as well but its way overpriced, BE WARNED it doesnt play ps2 or ps1 games which sucks.
