Your respondents who said sailing was at noon on April 10th, Collision at 23:40 on April 14th and sinking at 2:20 on April 15th are correct as far as they go. (Sea trials don't count)
However, there are some corrections to be made:
1. The Titanic stopped at Cherbourg, France on April 10th and at Queenstown, Ireland on April 11th to load mail and passengers. The total time stopped was approximately 6 hours.
2. There is a 3 hour time difference between England and the wreck site which must also be factored in. (The collision and sinking were at "ship's time")
3. Collision time and foundering time are consensus matters. They may be off by minutes.
4. The Titanic was not under power for a portion of the time between collision and sinking, and so could not be said to be "sailing" This time period is from approximately 00:15 on April 15 to 02:20 on the same date.
So there is not a simple and straightforward answer. But using the facts above, your daughter should be able to come up with an actual sailing duration.

Her final voyage began at noon on 10th April 1912 and ended in the small hours of 15th April. In addition to this, she would have undergone extensive sea trials before being handed over to her owners and comprehensive records of these would be available at the Public Record Office.

Since all you asked was a simple question I wont put a lot of details, the Titanic traveled only around 850 mi. but because of the size of the ship it traveled 150.37²mi.=22,611sq mi.(1,369 mi.)
Then that means the ship traveled for 5 days and 2 hours past midnight with an additional 43 minutes,28 seconds,54 milliseconds.
Your Welcome :]
