Well I either think that somehow, somewhere down the line the problem that I am experiencing will go away or be alleviated somehow. It's a matter of knowing that there IS a light at the end of a tunnel and that you WILL eventually get there. You need to be strong and think of all the good things you have in your life... like your family, friends, job, or just doing the things you love to do...vacations, parks, going out, swimming and a million more things. It also helps ( a lot ) to have someone to talk to about how you are feeling.... Giving up is NEVER an option!

There are 2 answers to this question: adrenaline and sanity.
In a crisis situation adrenaline kicks in and makes you forget what is going on and you can be superman and get through anything. Sanity is what keeps you from killing yourself in unbearable situations. You may just want to "end it all", but in the end 98% of the time you will have no choice but to see what life has to offer next.

There were some questions like this, and I give different answers because I'm never sure myself. I mean, there's nothing I can really do, except the obvious suicide committment..maybe I keep this fact that I have a purpose in life but haven't found it really.

i look at the good things i have! i myself am going through a tough time in my life. im pregnant have no job and nothing for the baby. i have 11 weeks till my baby is here and i have nothing! i sleep on a air mattress on the living room floor of my grandparents house. im trying to get back to idaho. we moved to maine for better job opportunities but things are just not working out! but that doesnt get me down. i think of the things i do have and others dont! like i do have a place to stay, im looking for a job and my boy friend just got a better paying job. we may have bills that are behind but we still have each other and our beautiful baby will be her soon. thats all i think about! the future not the past.

You might think your going through alot, but there are millions of people going through worse. Just get on with it, and think about the future in a realistic way. When depressed you cant think about everything positive, its easier to think about negative situations. Just think what will realistically happen.

The only thing that keeps me going through the good times and the bad times is God through His Son Jesus Christ. I know that He is with me and will never forsake me, unlike so many out there that will abandon you in a heartbeat. I try to run the race in a way to win the prize, the prize is Heaven, and the only way to get there is through Jesus, so what keeps me going is Jesus and Heaven is my reward.

Whatever I'm trying to get out of whatever it is. I simply think about how good it will feel when I reach that goal. If I think about it but doesn't seem very rewarding, I screw it.

The fact that everything always works itself out with perseverance and prayer. Nothing will ever get accomplished if I quit. If I fail at something, at least I tried, and I learned something from it.
