You would be in charge of the checkers and registers. Overrides, any problems that come might come up. Be responsible for the money and any missing or over. Sometimes the checkers have issues you would have to deal with that. Write people up it's not just about the money as if that weren't more than enough responsibility! Generally you will be the one to get chewed out if something goes wrong at checkout...........

I would think that would mean the manager over the checkout counter at a retail store, center, etc. The checkout is where you pay for items that you are purchasing in a store. You would probably be responsible for monies, depending on the size of the retail location, possibly managing the cashiers, and or shifts.

i think its the person who deals with the tills, money and any staff that work on the check outs. . .
