Yes it is. I heard that a lady died from drinking too much water. She was in a contest to win concert tickets as to who could drink the most water. The lady actually ended up dying from drowning, (drinking too much water). The company was sued. So yes it is possible!

Yes it is very possible. It ruins the delicate balance/equilibrium of water in your cells. It wasn't very long ago that there was a radio contest about who could drink the most water in certain time limit or what not. A young lady died. It was all over the news.

Yes as a matter of fact it is. Your body only needs and can only hold so much water without causing damage to your organs. When you drink too much water, you are in a sense drowning yourself from the inside out!

yes it is...there was the story right before Christmas time where a mom was trying to win a Wii for her kids and the radio station's way of running the contest was to have the contestants drink bottles of water. The mom died because she drank too much! So sad.

You know how cells are permeable to water? If you drink too much the water will fill up the cells..then fill up the outside of the cells and cause you to hurt and you're brain to swell, eventually leading it to burst and you to die.
You cn also die from chugging tobasco sauce becuase in actuality the pleasureable feeling you have when eating "hot foods" is an allergic reaction since we have no taste buds for spicy/hot.
Look up the girls who chugged water for a contest to win a Wii.

Yes, It's called Hydrotoxemia or something like that. It's like the opposite of Dehydration. People suffer from it when on ecstasy at raves and drinking lots of water while dancing.

Actually, it IS. If you drink enough water, it throws all of your body's electrolytes out of whack and can kill you.
There was a woman not too long ago who died from drinking water in a radio contest - she was trying to win a Nintendo Wii.

Yes. There have been cases where college students have become very sick and possibly died (unconfirmed) from having to drink a large, very large amount of water during "rush" events. I'll research it more and add, but I know it is possible.
