And to person who said he has no experience, your wrong dont open your mouth till u know what ur talking about he is probably the most experiened in dealing w/ conflicts w/ other countries who do you think the US sent to talk to North K, well he was one of them who actually got somewhere.theres countless conflicts he has resolved, at this point in the US that is what we need someone who can ease tensions and get countries re-united once again

I would indeed vote for Bill Richardson. He has many skills America needs. One of them is strong experience in international relationships. George Bush has been eroding away the international trust and friendships towards the united states. Being a UN ambassador and a negotiator for the US, he can rebuild the international bond.
Foreign policy must be one of the cornerstones of the person I elect. Bill Richardson has a very good one. Energy is also a hot issue lately. Bill Richardson is a perfect fit for that also, having served as the Energy Secretary.

Bill Richardson is the classic example of a Washington opportunist.
Do you remember him running around North Korea in the early '90s while a congressman? Exactly WHY was he there and who invited him? Hint: it wasn't the North Koreans who thought up the idea of an obscure congressman from New Mexico paying them a visit in the interest of "peace".
Or, if you don't remember that junket, do you remember him appearing before the Senate while Secretary of Energy to explain the continual mismanagement at Los Alamos National Laboratory? His performance was truly awful and led Bobby Byrd to announce the end of his career (i.e., Bill's career) to his face - in the hearing room and on national TV.
Well, ol' Bill survived Bobby's verdict and has risen from the dead to announce his candidacy for President of the United States.
Can anyone here spell "lightweight"?

I'm an individual who likes less extremism and less division in matters political.
For a Democrat, I think he is pretty good. I could vote for him if he were up against the usual extremes put up every term by both parties.
That is my current opinion but I must learn more about him.
He is the BEST CHOICE at this time, but it is a long way to the primaries.
NOW IS THE TIME TO SUPPORT YOUR CANDIDATES. Don't wait until after they have lost in the primary election and then say you don't like any of the candidates when November rolls around.

i'd vote for him.
being from new mexico i've seen some of the things he's done for us and for the most part they've been pretty good.
of course being a politician he plays politics so not everything he does i agree with.
i also believe that he has a better handle on us international relations than any other candidate. most other candidates simply spout political ideas because of the political gain they might get. i.e. most dem candidates are for pulling out of iraq and the repubs want to stay the course but blame bush. they are just trying to appeal to their respective political bases.
richardson actually comes up with some ideas, true he is also trying to appeal to his base but his ideas are also good ideas.
of course i am biased in his favor, being a new mexican.

I like a Clinton/Biden ticket.
I refuse to watch any of the coverage on the 2008 race until after the new year.
How many gallons of fuel are they going to waste this year driving/flying around the country telling us about energy conservation. While WE pay them to be Senators!! Do your job Senators!!
The next President does not only need to end the war on terrorism, end the health care crisis, end poverty, end illegal immigration, and on and on and on. The next President needs to manage OUR money to the benefit of every American.

Isn't he the one who said they did not give my state they (The Bush Admin) funding to build the fence (with Mexico), then a few days later it came out that his state did in-fact receive the money.
He is just a politician too.
