I just want to see what an example of a daily meal you feed your guinea pigs. Please do it for 1 guinea pig so I can get a good view o it. =)
I'm just wondering how much, how often and what kind of food you guys feed your guinea pigs =) Please include their pellets and hay too.
Thanks.

Hay - Unlimited. Give any number of pigs as much as they want. It's important in wearing down their molars and keeping their digestive system moving.

Pellets - I use a Timothy Hay based pellet from Oxbow, but I don't give them much, nor do my pigies eat that many. I usually put about 1/3 of a handful in twice a day for 2 pigs, and usually there's leftovers.

Veggies - I have two, so if I were to halve my servings, it would look like this:

Morning:
1 leaf of something green and "leafy." Usually, green or red leaf lettuce. Sometimes I'll grab romaine or butter instead.
3-4 sprigs of cilantro
Occassionally, I'll throw in one half a leaf of swiss chard.

Evening:
1 leaf of something green and "leafy" again.
1/8 slice of a bell pepper or another vitamin C rich veggie.
1 baby carrot
Occassionally, I'll throw in a small piece of fruit. Honeydew seems to be the most popular with my girls, followed closely by apple. I wouldn't give fruit more than once-twice a week, though.

Occassionally, I'll mix something up. Maybe throw in a little bit of kale in with the lettuce, or sneak in a little parsley or cucumber. Again, I wouldn't make any of these things a staple of the diet, but variety is key to a healthy guinea pig.

I feed my guinea pig a 1/4 cup of guinea pig food, a handful of timothy hay in it's cage (they like to play in it as well as eat it) and a small serving of fresh fruit everyday. Every other day (for the fruit serving) I give her sliced oranges. On the other days, I like to change it out between carrots, apples, kale and sometimes a little bit of cheerios.

I also make sure she has fresh water with vitamin C drops in it.
