You will not be able to get your old password. You will be required to change it. At the end they have you make an disk to use the next time you forget your password.

Nope. depending on the password, such as a Windows password, or password for a web site, you might be out of luck. Sometimes you can reset a password after offering proof of who you are, but if password recovery could be done on a web site, passwords would be of little use as security. Once you set one, you really need to remember it.

Just try the website that the password is for, they usually have an 'I've forgotten my password' button.

Depends what you're after....
is the password on a computer? if so you can try Cain & Abel from oxide.com or download the ophcrack live cd (Google it) and try to brute force it.
If it's a passowrd for a website or some such though then you're out of luck.

depending in where ...for instants if you lost your password for yahoo you can contact them and they will help you who ever the password is used for should be able to help you if its gateway or dell they also will help you
