I have nextel right now and I don't like them to much, they aren't fitting what I need. What do you think is the best? And how much is it? Im looking for free nights and weekends, and texting. (moblie-to-mobile would be nice to) Just not sure how much money all that would be.

Assuming all of the other cell providers provide comparable coverage, none of them has a phone to die for, and you don't plan to take your phone out of the country often (then I'd advise T-Mobile since their unlocked GSM phones are easy to swap SIMs with), then I'd go with the plan most of your friends are using. You'll get the most out of those same-network services like unlimited voice and txt.

Most everyone provides unlimited nights and weekends voice in their base packages. While VZW provides unlimited IN-network txting, they don't have unlimited txting plans to others, esp if you plan to IM heavily.

For 400 minutes, 1500 txt msgs, that should run you around $70/mo, including taxes, on VZW.

I just switched to T-Mobile and got the MyFaves plan. If you get this, you won't get charged for any incoming or outgoing calls of those on your favorites list, regardless of whether they're a T-Mobile user or not. It's awesome and has the requirements you're looking for. I only pay 40 bucks a month for it. Their customer service is helpful, too.

I have Cingular Wireless....so with that said, I would say go with Verizon...I have heard nothing but good things about them! With Cingular....my calls are always dropped....the reception is terrible.....but the prices are good....but you end up paying more because you have to keep recalling and repeating things.....so definitely Verizon!
