Gees....loaded question.

Be smart about where you are going to put the ball. Mix up your line and length until you find that ball that troubles the batsman then come back to it every now and then till you get him out.

But to achieve this the right technique is as follows...good run up (fluent..dont stop at the crease when you bowl), be sure to look over your should when you deliver the ball to the batsman (this will help with some swing and pace) then be sure to follow through well...(momentum = pace).

As a general rule...no short crap, no extras (legside, wides, noballs) make the batsman play at every ball...wear him down. The more he has to concentrate on each ball the more likely a mistake will get made...

Aim at the stumps or batsman's legs if they come in way.
