Like, where would you go site seeing there and stuff? Monuments, beaches, ect.

Well sight seeing is one,but take into consideration,were your gonna stay,whether its an all inclusive or a regular hotel,but your definitely gonna enjoy your self,just be open minded.
An All inclusive save you money for every thing is included,meals and etc;.Transportation can also be arrange from the resort,through front desk,or a travel agent.
For me it would have to be the mountains as they have some of the highest peaks in the Caribbean(pico duarte; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pico_Duarte 3,089m),white water rafting,also available, if your adventurous
you can stay on the north coast at puerto plata,that's were some of the best beaches are located.

The best beach is in Punta Cana- Bavaro Beach.
