may be i am old or some thing but why cant some one put out a model mag for people like me who build models like some thing you may see in movie like mad max or a model like we drive not some model that looks all most real why not have a mag for builders who may not have the pro skills why not have shows for people like us?

Is not the ideal of modeling to produce something that looks real, whether the model represents something real or fantasy.
Granted the project shown in most model mags are the cream. They are there to show you what could be done , you may not have the skills to match it but to give you ideas to improve your skills, knowing many of us may never reach that level. Besides I do not think a mag that only showed mediocre end products would have much appeal to most modelers. I know I want to improve my art and to achieve more.

What a great idea? Why don't you do that? I bet there are thousands of people who would like to subscribe to such a magazine and there are certainly lots of companies with related products they would like to advertise.
You might not become the Hugh Hefner of that segment of the magazine trade, but you could do quite well.
