My guess is you are experiencing high levels of adrenaline when you have a confrontation.

Ya I'd agree its adrenaline..and like someone else said when faced with a potentially uncomfortable situation..fight or flight kicks in..we get ready to have a barney..or run.
I hate confrontation, and that kinda happens to me too,I think its a mix of anger, fear, adrenaline whateva.. I dont go hulk mad though!
I like to avoid confrontation..its not good for people!

It is adrenaline, a natural fight preparation response hormone that is designed to make your heartrate speed up.
Eveyone has it, for some it's a faster trigger than others who don't respond to it very well. It just means your system is more in tune with your environment than those around you. It can also be a lifesavor in an emergency situation.
As a black belt, I can tell you the best way to fix the problem is to use it to your advantage -- control it, don't let it control you ;-)

happens a lot! my hands shake.im not scared, its rage.basically, the body releases adrenlin/epinephrine when u are especially angry, and other stress hormones as well, and this can make ur hands and whole body shake,or just feel like ur shaking. interesting fact-if u are given a high dose of novocaine due to a lengthy/difficult dental procedure,it can stimulate the release of adrenalin, and the patients hands will shake .

In a word - adrenaline.
Everybody's body copes differently with sudden releases of adrenaline, but your body wants to use that adrenalie for fight or flight. It makes sense that if you don't fight or run, your muscles would shake. I expect it's very common.

yep the adrenaline hypothesis has a lot of support. so do environmental factor ie if you've grown up in a household/school/community with high expressed emotion for which you constantly felt the need to be aware...hypervigilant if you will....

It's the adrenaline. Happens to me (rarely) under extreme stress.

Maybe it goes back to the ol' "fight or flight" instinct we have when faced with a stressful situation.
