get a hamster. They are cute and dont go for walks and they wont get bored jst get a hamster ball and put them in it and let them roll around. hamsters are only about 5 dollars and the cages r about 25 dollars but they are so cute.

goldfish....they are cheap. If you for get to fed it.....your out a buck....start small just to see if you can handle the responsibilities of pet ownership.

or a stick insect? probably the lowest mainentence pet you can get.
