would i be able to put a guniea pig and chinchilla in the same cage if they both have there own hideing places guniea pigs would be on the groung its a hideing igloo and the chinchilla would have Sleep-N-Ledge and a Super Pet Chinchilla Leap-N-Ledge wich would lead up to a hidey house in the top corner of the cage that would be out of the reach of the gunie pig incase the chinchilla wants to get away. Would i be able to keep these two breeds in the same cage.

No.
Chinchillas and guinea pigs will usually get along but they have completely different needs. Chinchillas should never have fresh fruits while guinea pigs should. They shouldn't be on the same sort of pellets either.

I don't think it would be a good idea, mattering on the size of the cage though. If you have a REALLY big cage you might be able to get away with it. I would think the Chinchilla would intimidate the guinea pig. One way to find out is you could let them on the floor together for a while as see how they react. If they work out well you could build a cage (we are talking like a 4' x 6' kinda cage). Overall my gut says it isn't a good idea though.

Not a good idea to house different species together in the same cage. Besides considering temperment and dominance issues that might occur, they both require a different diet. Guinea pigs need fresh veggies everyday where chinchillas should not have any veggies.

I would suggest either getting two same sexed guinea pigs OR chinchillas

No you wouldn't. The only other breed a G.pig can live with is a rabbit and even that is not recommended. Chinchilla can only be kept with other chinchillas. They are very different and the difference in the level of intelligence would be a huge issue.

Definately not, no animals should be caged with another species as their living conditions. You could possibly let them play together if they get along and you properly introduce them together but their food needs are very different and you wouldnt want them to be getting sick from eating the wrong food.
