Numerous intelligence agencies around the world have details about it. You will find nothing in the mainstream American media because it is controlled by those who want the public distracted from the real issues.

I haven't allowed Bush to do anything that he has done, but he never has asked me my opinion either. I just want that man out of office...we can only hope that the doesn't ruin us even more before he leaves in '08! Gosh, I really hope he isn't that stupid to get us into ANOTHER war before he leaves. Please Mr. Bush...use some sense!

Congress won't allow it. It's not much of a sneak attack if every news agency but the ones in the US are reporting about it. Honestly, how can you believe the government controls all news media? CNN is a completely liberal news outlet, just like FOX is a completely conservative news outlet. If the government controlled it then CNN would be spreading propoganda about how great the war is going. Also, the president is limited by the War Powers Resolution of 1973. It says that the President has to brief congress before engaging in any military action as well as provide continuous updates. Congress must also approve either by passing a declaration of war or a resolution supporiting the President's actions. While he can act without approval for 60 days, any attack on Iran would provoke war and in the process Bush would be impeached. (Just so we're clear I'm an independent, but I lean towards the conservative side) Now we can all agree that our president is not the smartest person, but he wouldn't do anything to intentionally get himself impeached.

The only reason Russia is getting involved is because of its ties to Iran and it’s involvement in Iran’s nuclear development. Iran is not listening to any reasons and continues to move forward to destruction. Believe me, they would act and try to bring to us as much pain as they can if they could. They were warned. Confrontation is inevitable, why postpone it – they will only get stronger.

Without a doubt, decision will be made based on best available information and by people who are more qualified than me or you.

I feel that the media has become a tool for the Fascist Police State that is being created in America. Publish a person's crime and condemn them in the public eye before the accused can try to prove their innocence seems to be the standard now..I wouldn't be surprised if such an attack did happen. The Brits helped the US in Iraq, so it sure sounds like a possible reciprocation.

You should include your sources (academic ones!!!) to allow for scrutiny and insight. Otherwise you could make up anything. Operation Bite? Never heard of it. Doesnt mean its not real, but if it is then it is a classified operation...and you talking about it means you are violating the law and subject to SEVERE punishment...or thats just a bunch of hogwash that you read out of "The National Enquirer" or "The Star".

You are kind of mixed up, there Sparky. We are already through initial attacks in Iraq. What you are referring to is Iran. All we can do is see on April 6 if it happens. God help the world if it happens.

Source? Of course not.

We don't use 1 word names for operations, they are always 2 words (eg iraqi Freedom, Just Cause, Enduring Freedom, etc)
It is more likely that the Brits will attack, it's their people who were abducted.
If the Brits do attack Iran:
1) UK is a soverign state. We don't "allow" them to do things, they make their own decisions.
2) Iran committed an act of war. They have every right to respond as they see fit.

I can only hope that we are planning to attack Iran.
Technically, according to hundreds of years of international precedent and laws, we have been at war with Iran since it invaded our legal territory - our Embassy in Tehran - and siezed our citizens as hostages.
That declaration of war by Iran on the USA has not been resolved - either on the battlefield or in international courts.
Therefore - bombs away - and lets hope we are smart enough to use Nukes.

They're not trying to attack Iran. But if they were, it'll probably be because of Iran holding 14 Brits illegally.
