Voldemort will die for sure. I don't think Harry will, because Rowling is all about the element of surprise, and everyone seems to think that Harry will die, so she won't let that happen. Also, this popular theory that Harry's scar is the last horcrux doesn't make sense. Voldemort was trying to kill Harry, he didn't know that the spell would backfire. He couldn't have made a horcrux by accident, he would have had to know what was going to happen, and would have had to create the horcrux knowing what he was doing.

I think one of the main characters will probably die, but I don't think it will be Hermione, Ron, or Ginny. I suspect Hagrid may die, because he's always ready to sacrifice himself to protect others, and he will probably have to do that at some point.

I think Snape may die, after it is revealed that he is on the side of the Order. I think he killed Dumbledore on Dumbledore's own orders (the begging for his life was Dumbledore's cue to Snape to do it, because he was going to die anyway, and that would convince the death eaters of his loyalty), and after that fact is revealed, he will either be killed by death eaters for the betrayal, or die in the fight to defend the Order.

I think Malfoy will turn good in this book, too. He was close enough to it at the end of the last one, and I think he'll choke and lose his nerve in this one. Maybe he will have to kill Lucius, or have to allow someone else to do it.

Harry

I'm thinking it will probably be Voldemort and someone else. I'm hoping it won't be Harry. I think it would be neat if J.K. Rowling made a life after Hogwarts series and maybe Harry's kids could go on to Hogwarts. I think someone already said something about that, so I stole their answer. Lol I think the other person to die (if it's not Harry) will probably be one of Harry's friends. I'm excited about the last book though.

I came up with a theory, but it is based on Harry's scar, which could be the last horcrux.

I felt that Harry and V battle, and Harry is more surprising that V had thought, but is still doing badly.

Snape comes in to hold V, but in order for V to die, Harry must kill both V and Snape (who orders him to do so)

I was thinking that theory myself, but i don't want Harry to die ,i know it is the last book but it would be good if in a few years she wrote another called life after hogwarts and Harry has a couple of kids who get into mischief.

didn't malfoy kill dumbledore? i'm going to have to read the last one again before the new one comes out!

i think you're right about a couple of deaths - i think there will be one midbook to justify the one at the end of the book, someone lovely will get killed so that we feel more righteous that their killer dies that sort of thing.

i think harry will live, jk must be pretty attached to him and will want him to go on to good things.

it style of feels soooo in all probability he and Voldemort will die. properly, if he would not, the two Neville or Ron will die. Or one among his closest pals. possibly he might even build a relationship along with his aunt and on the tip, the aunt sacrifices her existence for him. that's a sturdy ending...

Sadly i think that it will be Harry if it is to be the last book then there can be only one conclusion. the end of Harry is the end of the story.

Harry will die, but he will end up in some spirit world with his parents and he will be able to communicate with his friends to let them all know everything is fine and not to be sad for him.
