Where does it say that because you call your esablishment a club, this makes everything that goes on legal?

Gay bathhouses do not conduct illegal business. The sex there is consensual between adults. That is not illegal. In fact the US supreme court ruled that the Constitution protected private acts done by consensual adults. Gay bathhouses are private clubs. Read the Texas vs. Lawrence US supreme court decision.

Because bathhouses aren't charging money for the sex that occurs and yes actually gay bath houses have been closed down in MANY cities. You just never knew about it, lad.
It probably happened before your time.
Any sex that happens in a bath house occurs between customers only, not with employees. In massage parlors the sex is with the employees...making it prostitution which is illegal.

Those Massage parlors and bawdy houses were shut down for prostitution. Gay baths aren't places that traffic in prostitution.

because because massage parlors and bawdy house are prostitution (where people are paying for sex)
where gay bathhouse are place where people just happen to have sex (but don't pay for it)
it would be like making bars illegal just because people happen to hook up in them

Because it's illegal in most places to pay for sex, but not illegal just to get together for the purpose of having sex. This is why both straight and gay sex clubs are allowed, but not "bawdy" (whore) houses.

They are private clubs for men. You would be surprised as to the number of married and straight men who use facilities at bathhouses.
