I am on the last chapter of lord of the flies and I have a question please help me out! What happened in Europe immediately after the second World War that you could see is reflected maybe in this novel?

Well, in Europe there was the famous Nuremberg trials, then there was the slow process of rebuilding. The UN was formed to try and sort out National problems and disputes. Also the cold war started, with concerns about Communism and a general mis trust.
