How Much is Too Much-Makeup.....?

i only wear enough makeup to enhance my natural beauty-mascara, concealer, and powder, etc. makeup is fun to put on and experiment with but some girls don't know when enough is enough. tell me what you think is toooo much makeup to wear. most and best details get best answer!!

First, may be that was a slip of the tongue but I was thinking that that's quite snobbish saying 'enhancing your natural beauty'.
I would think too much make-up is when you can tell you have make-up on e.g. you have stacks of blue eyeshadow on following by even more blue eyeliner. Yes, that's OK now and then for parties etc but some people in my class at 14 years old wear this to school.
Make-up should be natural... If you don't look like a model who cares? They're airbrushed and you should accept who you are.

Too much makeup is when your face feels heavy and dirty, and when you see the makeup more than you see your face. When girls have foundation and powder caked on that's too orange or too white, that is too much, or when they have crusty, spidery eyelashes and badly blended eyeshadow up to their scarily penciled in eyebrows. I also think that blush in bright colors that isn't blended well or lipliner darker than your lipstick makes you look like your wearing too much makeup, even if you aren't wearing that much at all. Makeup is a wonderful thing that shouldn't be abused. It is meant to enhance and flatter your face, not change what it looks like completely.

um, you seem to wear a lot of it.. and its funny how thats 'natural' makeup. to me, thats a LOT.

when a girl wears something on her face that completely changes the way she looks, i think shes wearing too much. personally, i wear moisturizer, maybe a dab of concealer under the eyes and bronzer if im willing to go the distance.

i see these girls wearing eyeliner, mascara, eye shadow... primer, foundation, powder, blush, bronzer.. all of it, all on one day. that, to me, is disgusting. its funny because all of them look worse then someone like me, who tries a lot less.

that to me is too much makeup. when youre trying so hard that without makeup people cant recognize you. its funny, because most girls i see, when i see them withut makeup, they look HORRIBLE. and even with makeup they dont look good... try going more natural. people think i look really good, and they ask me what i wear and i say 'i dont wear that!'... just be natural, you dont wanna look 40 when youre 18. enjoy the ability to go without makeup, or barely any!

Well too much make up is when you try to play up both the eyes AND lips, causing you to look like Sephora's blew up on your face. if you go dark on the eyes, go natural or nuetral on the lips. if you go with red lipstick/gloss, wear either light pink, light brown, or no eyeshadow, depending on your skin's tone.

too much makeup is when your eyeshadow/eyeliner is too thick and a very dark color....when you blush is almost a pure streak of whatever color it is...when you lips are lined in a horribly dark color that is exceedingly too dark for your skin tone...and especially if you are, for example 40, and your trying to look 18 again
