If your boyfriend really did stop selling drugs, and you and he really do love and care for eachother, then yes, you should marry him. Who cares what others think? All that matters is that you two are happy together. If your family and friends don't like who you marry that's their problem, not yours. Eventually they will have to except the fact that you love him, and that he's now one of the family. They might never treat him with the same respect, or hold him to as high of standereds as others, but they will except him. If you and your family aren't really THAT close, but you and this other guy are, then you should be with him. Maybe everyone else thinks that he's a jerk, but that doesn't matter. Just do what you think is right. Follow your heart. Who cares about his twin? Those people aren't deciding your life, you are!

Ask yourself if you see a future with this guy. If you can honestly answer yes...then you may have a hard decision to make. But, honestly, it is difficult to give yourself honest answers when you are this young. Taking a step back from things for a couple months should help you sort things out. Remember, boyfriends come and go, but family lasts forever.

Your family, regardless of what you think right now, is trying to look out for your best interests. They have more experience with life than you do and they don't want you to get mixed up with somebody who will probably end up in jail. The greatest percentage of dealers of drugs are repeat offenders. The greatest percentage of people who serve time for dealing drugs are repeat offenders. Ask your sister and aunt what their issue with him. If their reason is valid leave him alone. At any cost never let a relationship with a man keep you from having a close bond with your family.

Don't get married at a young age. Go to college. Don't throw your whole life away for some guy who's already getting into trouble.

Parents and older relatives see your bf for what he really is, you see him for what you want him to be.

Good Luck!
