Chances are you aren't ovulating or already are prengnat.

I would go see a doctor first. You could have a cyst or something else that is causing you to not have your period.

YES you can!!!! I thought that I was not ovulating, because I had not had a period for 5 months. Every month I took a pregnancy test; every month the test came back negative - until month number 6! If you don't want to get pregnant now, use a contraceptive. Go to see your doctor to see what could be causing your lack of periods. Sometimes it is as simple as stress or a rapid weight loss/gain. Other times it can be caused by a medical condition.

I would listen to the doctor then. You aren't pregnant but something else sure is going on there. I would demand some test to be done to figure out why you aren't getting a period and what they can do to regulate you. If you aren't getting periods then you aren't ovulating which means you have a higher chance of not getting pregnant. Good luck to you.

No, if you're not having a period then you're not releasing eggs. Are you sure that you're not already pregnant? Why haven't you had a period for 8 months? You need to see the Doctor and get on some progesterone - so that you're period can start again. It's not healthy not to have one. Good luck!

Usually not having a period means that you aren't producing any eggs. It could also mean that you are already pregnant. If you haven't had your period for that long I would go to the doctors unless you are taking birth control where no periods are a side affect...in that case call your doctor.

You should go to the doctor and find out why you are not getting your period. There could be a serious issue going on. Are you sure that you are not already pregnant?
