I have a pole that is in 3 pieces. I cannot get the pieces seperated. I have tried WD 40 and mallot. I have tried gripping pads...with my boyfriend trying to seperate them. Is there a tool? I have checked all the pole sites and nothing.

It came in 3 pieces, but from use they have become stuck together.

i'm assuming you either have a platinum stages super pole or an xpole...

first, do NOT use wd40...use household OIL.

second, do NOT use pipe wrenches! you'll ruin the pole!

third, get some rubber strap wrenches, you can get them at any home improvement store..take this pic and print it out to show what you need...you'll need 2 good quality ones, do not go cheap on these, or they will break..

fourth, use heat/cold. put heat (blowdryer works) on the "female" section next to the seam, and cold (bag of frozen peas works) on the male end near the seam. the heat will expand the female section (opposite for cold), and allow you to use the strap wrenches much more effectively.
(you will most definitely need 2 people to do this)

Once they are apart, you need to clean them very well.

you'll need rubbing alcohol and a 100% cotton cloth diaper (leaves virtually no fibers), you'll need to clean both male and female ends until all of the black **** is gone, then use household oil (NOT WD40!!) to lubricate both male/female sections. make sure not to get any fibers or dirt in the threads otherwise they will stick harder.

all poles will stick, it's from spinning, however, if you take them apart every couple of days, or at least slightly loosen them, it will make it much easier to take them fully apart.

hth!!

Maybe the pole was soldered or welded together. If not go and ask some welders and they might know how to get them apart.
