why does every one hate emo kids?

everyone doesn't hate emo kids, first of all, but it's probably because some emo kids make a bad image for all of them. most emo kids are really cool and good people, but a few of them are whiny and annoying and give the whole "emo" thing a bad rep. some people are also just jerks. they don't like emos because they're different, and they act stupid about it. i personally think emos have an awesome style and the music isn't bad either.
