It has been 5 days since my menstrual cycle ended and my husband and I an accident. Can I get pregnant ? I am not ready for another one I have a 14 month old one already.

Probably not... Your ovulation period starts 14 days before your period is set to begin. So determine when you should get your next period and count back 14 days and that is a peak ovulation day. For example let' say you determine that your next period is supposed to begin on about April 15th then you'd count back 14 days to April 1st and that would be your peak ovulation day. Keep in mind though that sperm can remain alive in the body for a couple of days so unprotected sex anywhere from about March 29th until April 6th or so (using the example date) could wind up with you pregnant.
Just a suggestion, if you truly don't want to get pregnant and know you aren't ready why don't you try something a little more fool-proof like an IUD or pills.

No, you can't unless you were already pregnant form the month before and had another period. The only thing that you can do is take a test 5 days before your next period.

It does happen, but it's really rare. You figure that you're not fertile until 14 days after your period. You had sex 5 days after and sperm can live for 3 days inside of you. That takes you to 8 days. Unless you released eggs early - you're not PG. If you take the pill - then you won't have to worry. hehe. Good luck! :)
