Well, even after I warm up my arm and stretch, my arm starts to ache a little bit. It's mostly in my bicep for some reason. I usually only play catch back and fourth at maybe a distance of 15 yards. I thought maybe because I was throwing it for too long, but my friend's arm never does this. Is it because of my throwing mechanics?

I have the same problem, but mine happens in my elbow and occasionally my triceps. I get this pain even when Im not throwing a football though. So I changed the way I throw. I dont get any pain for up to 25 yards, but I stil get a pain, although not lasting, in my elbow whenever I throw farther than 35 yards. I used to be able to throw around 40 yards, but now Id be lucky to get 30 yards with no pain.

I bet its because of your throwing mechanics, it was with me, although they think I have Tennis Elbow. Just throw more with you body and dont sidearm your throws. Follow through and step towards your target. My pain went away the day after I started changing my throwing style. Just know your limitations, and see if changing your mechanics works, if not, see a doctor.

This used to happen to me when I'd throw a baseball. My arm would get sore, but everyone else is still throwing away. Probably in your mechanics. Don't push it though you could really hurt yourself.

Check with a sports medicine consultant at the local gym or find someone that specializes in rehab. It may not sound like what they have to offer is what you need, but they certainly can refer you on and know the right people to send you too.

You probobly messed up your arm. You are not throwing the ball correctly to stay away from injury. Throwing a football worng can cause injury to the arm and shoulder.

It is probobly because you are working your muscle too hard. During the day, you are probobly working hard and then when your are throwing the football around, it feels overworked.
