Okay Network Device Identifaction Process

First go to each PC and right click on My Computer and select Properties. Windows 2000/9x users will need to get this info from the Control Panel/Network area.

Click on Identification. Some might see Netowkr Identification. Here you can obtain your PC's name. Don;t worry about the discription.

Next do like these fellas are telling you and click START/RUN and type in IPCONFIG and press enter.

This will issue you your IP address information.

Now repeat the process on all 5 machines.

Next, right click on the icon you use to access the Mapped Drive. Select Properties. Hopefully the path to the drive is in the box that pops up. If you know which computer holds the mapped drive then you are ahead of the game. You have already obtained it's info when you pulled the data per my instructions.

Click on Start
Click on Run
Type CMD and hit OK
type PING [computername] and hit enter
It will tell you the IP address.

Edit: The guy below is telling you how to get the IP of your computer, not the ones you are connected too.
