I would have to say that it depends on severity of the violation. Diplomatic sanctions can be taken if desired. However we must always remember that every country has its own development stages. Obviously, most developed countries are more advanced when it comes to society and more civilized than country that is far behind in development. We must realize that by helping them to address human rights issues we must be sure that it will be understood and appreciated. We can’t hope to take country from the Stone Age and feed them democracy. Allow them to get to the get there on their on. It took Western Civilizations centuries to get where we are.

Yes! And it happens all the time- which is a good thing. Look at all those countries where women have no rights, or where children are being forced into sex slavery by adults and their government does nothing to stop it- someone else has to step in sometimes.

no. taking action should not happen.ever.at the very least, stop buying the products the want to sell to the world.look at cuba.where are they at? why hasen't the us invaded? they dont mean anything to the world.

Of course. As humans, we need to stop the abuse and killing of a minority or the enslavement of any peoples.

diplomatic action yes. invade, absolutely not. unprovoked attacks are illegal by international treaty.
