Kandice as a middle name?
(Kandice or Candice, haven't settled on the spelling yet, my mother's name is Candida, and I wanted her middle name to be after my mother's.. any suggestions as far as spelling?)

yeah Suz, you're right, it IS a nice name, and as a middle name Kandace might be a bit too strong :)
It does sound good as a first name.

I had a friend named "Candice" but her mom spelled it "Kandis" I thought it was cute and she always liked her name's originality!
As far as a first name for Candice it is difficult but a good rule of thumb is that longer first names (like Kandice) should have shorter middle names and vice versa. This gives balance to the name. Another thing to consider is the last name, how it sounds together and whether it's long or short. This is why a name like Gabrielle Nicollette Johannson sound a little funny. Medium length names are very flexible.
If you go with Kandice (any spelling) as the first name you have tons of options. Kandice Grace, Kandice Nicole.
Kandice as a middle name may require some creativity and thinking but can surely be done.

I think Candice is a very pretty name but I would be hesitant to use as a first name because of the nickname Candie. Candie isn't one of my personal favorites.

I think a cute frist name for Kandice, would be Marie. I honestly don't think Kandice isn't too strong of a name. For myself I like very different names, like AsiaLynn, or Ashleigh Lynn.

I do Katherine (not just becuase it is my name, but Katherine Kandice Sounds COOL) I suggest her nickname is Kate or Katie because Kat is so Crazy and Kandice is so cute and calm. Plus coming from Me being named Katherine I NEVER liked when people called me Kat.
