Yes....... you definitely won. Your conscience so totally tries to guide you in the right direction. If you struggle with wondering what is the right thing to do....... what is the fun thing to do..... what feels good for that split second..... you can so wind up making the worst mistake of your life. If you let your conscience guide you....... how can you lose? :)
So listen to Pogue... it is too deep for P&S which is why you should keep asking questions like this. we all could use a little depth. *wink* I know I could right about now. *cough*

I don't know about your conscience but mine is always trying to keep me out of trouble. Since I have found that some mistakes are a lot of fun, I haven't been letting my conscience win much lately.
