I think you have your answer in the question. Sick. To abandon a baby you have to be sick, a deep mental sickness that robs you of the most basic human instinct, to protect the infants, the future of our species.
I know some will say there are reasons and I can't understand but, what I do understand is it is our duty to protect babies. If you have a child that you can't cope with, there are options other than abandoning the baby. To do that is just trying to avoid your responsibilities.

The mentally disturbed or emotionally challenged is very capable of doing this. I believe that a person in the state of panic or fear would do this. I really don't understand why she would continually get pregnant but nobody can ever explain these things. Hopefully the lady comes forward and seeks treatment for her ailment or whatever her problem may be. Society already has a prejudice against people that commit actions such as this. What is needed in situations such as this is a psychiatrist or some type of pro filer that can evaluate the situation.

Unbelievable that no one noticed this girl was pregnant 3 times and no babies to show for it
She really needs help, she is not right in the head to abandon these tiny babies,She could have a least dropped them off at a hospital or called someone anonymously to say where the babies were, Being a mother myself i cannot understand the mentality of some people regarding their children,id like to give this girl a good kick up the rear end and have her charged for the death of 1 and abandonment of all 3.
Shame on her

I don't they're "sick"... -I think they're in a "bad way"- & feel they don't have any other options. And actually- pride (or the lack of it) might be part of the problem. Most of the women who give up their babies this way- feel "forced too". They're scared, feel unable to care for them, are on drugs, or have serious family or social issues. They're unable to take care of their OWN prblems- let alone take care of a baby. Abandoning a newborn- is just another way of "running away" from their problems... :(

Due to the fact that now they allow you to take the baby to a "safe haven" I would say pretty damned selfish, stupid, ignorant; soembody that should have their uterus and ovaries cut out so they can never conceive again.
