Why hover?
There are not that many germs on the butt cheeks.
Hovering causes germs by peeing on the seat.

I am one of the rare breeds that actually sit on the toilet seat, even in public. And for everyones reference, Ive never gotten sick from this in any way. If you have any open sores on your butt or the upper part of your legs though, you should probably always use one of the paper toilet seat covers or hover-because it would be easier to 'catch' something if you had a lesion in the skin where something could enter...but if thats not the case you should be fine.

The paper lavatory-seat cover might properly be a dad or mum angel for the backside, yet provided that the seat is dry first of all. while the canopy is placed onto a seat it particularly is moist, it ferries micro organism and viruses from the lavatory seat up on your bare epidermis. the sturdy information is which you're no longer likely to contract a ailment in basic terms via sitting on a pathogen-coated lavatory. Neither viruses like influenza nor the micro organism in charge for ailments which contain strep throat are risky until they arrive in touch with the mucus membranes —some thing relatively prevented via washing grimy hands with cleansing soap in the previous touching your mouth or eyes (which you do already, suitable?). maximum sexually transmitted illnesses can not stay to tell the story as quickly as uncovered to air (exceptions are the herpes virus, that may stay for some hours, and hepatitis B, that may linger for seven days). To seize a ailment, the seated occasion might ought to have some form of destroy interior the exterior to permit the virus to circulate into. So in the experience that your bum is optimal and you do no longer suggestions the yuck ingredient, circulate forward and take a seat down. besides, the germs hiding on the throne are not those you should be maximum apprehensive approximately. the right factors of loo seats are low in bacterial numbers in comparison with surfaces which you particularly touch in a public restroom, like the faucet and countertop. Says college of Arizona microbiologist Chuck Gerba, "lavatory seats have been getting a foul rap."

HOVER BABY! Yeah and I always use my foot to flush it, for those of you who use your hands.. know that there are many others like me that use a foot and when you touch that lever, you're touching the bathroom floor, yuck. To that chick who actually sits on the seat, that's freakin nasty, you just have been lucky and haven't caught anything YET. What makes me laugh is all the women who fart loudly right before they pee, i'm a couple stalls down laughing my butt off silently.

A lady always lines the toidy seat with lotsa paper, then daintily sits down and does nature's business.
When done, she calmly raises up, scoots off the paper from the seat and finishes up nature's business.
