WOW! That's a loaded question. I personally feel that every woman really needs to find the answer for the "abortion" question in their own heart.
I personally like the fact that I do have a choice, however, I don't know that I would ever be able to end the possibility of life. The questions that I presume would haunt a person for the rest of their lives are not necessarily worth it unless it is a SEVERE case. Such as rape, molestation, the health of either the baby or mother. Otherwise, I feel that adoption is the best answer.
I have a MUCH younger sister from parents that were old enough that they considered abortion when they found out that they were pregnant. I thank GOD every day that they could not follow through with that option.
Choose wisely, this will be something you have to live with for the rest of your life. Make sure to keep in mind that there are ALOT of options and ALOT of people that would love to give your child a wonderful home.
On another note, really consider talking to the people that are closest to you in your life. Most of the time they are alot more supportive than you think they would be in the worst of situations.

Hi Yes its most def murder if someone is 13 they should be having sex at that age anyway but the way I see it is if that person thinks they are responsible enough to do the dead then you should be responsible to take care of the consiquences of you act. If there is financial dificulty there is always a way to make means I mean the government will help where they can if you ask for it and also there are allot of families out there that would be happy to take care of that child cos they cant have any. Now in the case of rape I would still consider it murder but I dont know if I could carry a child that would be a constant reminder of what happened but then again theat child is half mine and to give it away would be heart breaking at the same time so in that case or in the case of the mother having HIV then yes I think I could accept an abortion under those circumstances but only those circumstances otherside no no no I am dead against abortions there are websites you can go to and see how they do it its disgusting and inhumane I once saw on a website a scan of a baby that was bean aborted they actually feel their limbs being torn off and they even let out a scream its the most disgusting thing I ever saw and boy did I cry my eyes out Im a mother of two and there were many problems but I never thought of abortion Im the proud mother of two now and they were the best things that ever happened to me if its you or a friend your talking about PLEASE PLEASE for the love of God think about it and be strong good luck :)

If you are 13 years old and decided to have sex and came out pregnant you should be responsible and have the baby. It doesnt matter what other people say because you was not thinking of them when you was having sex Now being raped is a whole other story. AND YES ABORTION IS MURDER!!!

Pro-Choice all the way for me. But it really does depend on your background, some people agree, others don't . Unfortunatley, as it seems, Pro-choicers are generally classed, by Pro-lifers, as murderers, which is very unfair. No-one knows what situation that person is in and therefore shouldn't comment or victimise them for their decision. Every woman has the right to make up her own mind in these sometimes difficult situations and it certainly doesn't help when people voice their opinions in a slanderous manner.
Murder is such a strong word, and no, i don't think abortion is.

Yes. Most abortions are performed at about 10-14 weeks of pregnancy. By that time the baby is almost fully formed with a beating heart. Abortion is being used as a form of contraception, with the attitude of Oh well, I can always get an abortion. It's one of the things today that allows irresponsible people to remain irresponsible. I was adopted as a baby and I was a single mother and I believe that if anyone saw an actual abortion take place and see what they "suck" out of the mother's uterus for the sake of convenience or "choice", abortion would be all but gone.

i dont really have an oppinion on whether it is murder or not. well i do but i will keep it to myself. i will say that if you are 13 and you were raped you need to tell and tell now. they need to get the guy or guys and make them pay for taking advantage of a child. my daughter kept it from me and she was 14. when i found out it was too hard to get the cops to take action. as a parent i wanted nothing more than to find him myself but i will not stupe to his level. i found out when she thought she was pg so i know what you are going through on that. as far as options we discussed. i told her that i would stand behind her on what ever she decided. if she wanted to keep it i would help, if she wanted another family to have a chance at a child i would be there, if she wanted an abortion i would be there for her then too. only you kow what you can live with. my daughter didnt have to make a choice but i do know what she was going to do. she was going to give the baby a family to love it

If you get pregnant its your fault and you should face up to the responsibility however what about people who have been raped and fell pregnant its not there fault. Teen pregnancies some teens may feel as if they cannot face up to the HUGE responsibilty of being a mum . Falling pregnant at 14 really gave me a sort of respect for people who have to make this really tough descion i kept my baby even though i did seriously consider abortion simply because i didn't think i could be the mother this child deserves I am not agasint abortion but im not pro it. People who have abortions go through alot of pain and distress and most regrett it i think we should give these people a brake .... do what right for there babies and not whats right for everyone else!

No, it's not murder. I don't believe that it's considered "life" when a heartbeat is present. If you want to get really literal, it's life even before conception. Sperm is a living organism as well as the unfertilized egg. So if we want to persecute women who make decisions for themselves (free from right wing Christian nut-cases, and governmental regulations), I think we should also go after the lonely old men who choke their chicken to magazine spreads. If the pro-life nutso's want to stand outside of an abortion clinic and raise hell, they also need to stand outside the offices of Maxim and Victoria's Secret because their aiding in the murder of innocent sperm cells that could easily have been donated and used to create children for the less fortunate infertiles.
Come on people, grow up, mind your own business and stop throwing your beliefs and opinions on others. It's the womens choice and thats the end of it.

I would always encourage adoption as a wonderful and blessed alternative in the case of unwanted pregnancy. I do think abortion is taking of an innocent human life.
It is interesting to read accounts by women who have had abortions, and end up feeling guilty the remainder of their lives. Plus worth considering are the emotional impacts on later "siblings" of the aborted child, if/when they discover that a brother or sister before them was aborted.
Adoption is the best - and most loving - of all choices. There are many loving hopeful parents-to-be who are waiting for a baby to bring into their families. Keeping this in mind, I would disagree - greatly - with Fat Tart on this issue.
As the adage goes... "It's easy to be for abortion when you're not the one being killed."

I think it's really interesting that many people on this forum say that because abortion is legal, then it is not murder, nor is the abortionist a murderer. I'm pretty sure that argument didn't fly at the Nuremburg trials when former Natzi leaders were put on trial for acts which were legal during their rule.
Here are some testimonies from women who were raped and choose to abort:
http://afterabortion.info/case_na.html
http://www.silentnomoreawareness.org/testimonies/testimony5097.htm
And here is the testimony of a woman who was concieved in rape:
http://www.priestsforlife.org/testimony/jennispeltz.htm
I think they can do a better job of responding to your question.
Thanks for reading and God bless!
