I'm already thin with blonde hair. I'm thinking of wearing black and bringing a wooden stake. What kind of shoes does she wear? Is there anything as far as make up goes that I can do?

She wore really scruffy tennis shoes. And always had a backbag on (a yoga bag would be better probably as the top flap had been ripped off of hers) with all the spikes sticking out.
Are you going as Buffy the Vampire Slayer (the movie) or Sarah Michelle Geller. If you are going as the movie, you should find an 80s style prom dress and rip it up like she did. The other outfits she wore are much more difficult to acquire. The first scene bit she's always in the cheerleader uniform. Then she's in the cover shot, green top and purple stretch pants. Later on shes in bright pink leggings and the letter jacket. But for the most memorable part and most of the fight scene, she's in the pink prom dress. I'm sure you can find a pink prom dress on ebay.
If its Sarah Michelle Geller, it needs to be a really sexy black top with a lot of clevage. Preferably something that looks far far too dressy to fight vampires in. A funky black studded belt--rather punk or emo. Far too much black eyeliner, blood red lipstick and I'd somehow incorporate pictures of Spike and Angel. Like perhaps stick a picture of each on the backpack.
Either way work on your abs like crazy since both are belly revealing outfits. And don't worry--I'll be feeling your pain as I'm doing belly dancer this year.

I guess she would wear something easy to run and fight in.
maybe something in black since they are easier to clean (or at least won't look as dirty after you walk around in grave yards)
