Please describe in detail - do you give your all like a bear, or do you hold back just a little?

I put my arms around their upper body and squeeze like mad. If they try and get away I cling on like a limpet.
If all else fails, I grab them round the legs and see how far they can drag me along the floor. Does it have to be someone who knows me?

I'm a serial 'patter', when I hug someone I put my arms around them and give them a little 'pat-pat' on the back. Sometimes I'll give a rub also! I give a nice big hug but never let go of myself completely though!

If I care enough about the person to even give them a hug, I put my all into it. I don't just go around hugging people all willy nilly.

Depends who I am hugging and what the situation is.
If I am happy for them then its a great big hug.
If I am sad for them then its a gentle reassuring one
