Over the last couple of years I have talked to hundreds of IRAQ vets. Each and every one of them support the cause and feels we are trying to accomplsih a good thing. Many are willing to reup, volunteer or at least stood up to do the job. One gentelman had his arm blown off and was fighting with the Army to go back. So, if the troops support their mission.

Do I support their beliefs and stick it out?
or

Question made sense until the last sentence. Is that an analogy or something. As a retired soldier who went to Iraq and Kuwait, I appreciate your sentiment. I support the mission too. But to be intellectually honest, the answer is "no, not necessarily." For instance, I have long been saying to the Bush-haters that you don't have to like him to support the war. But, by your logic, you would - b/c the troops have to support their Commander-in-chief. Now, I think you have a point because, most people just pay lip service when they say they support the troops, but not the mission. But I believe that it can be sincere.
