Try mixing in some mineral oil (not too much, like 3 1/2 teaspoons) in his dry food (approximently 3 cups)--my friend is a vet-tech and that is the advice she gave to me when I had the same problem!

DEAR GOD don't do that.... lol lol if he is still eating cook bacon and save the grease then poor the grease on the dog food let cool stir...enjoy this will loosen thing up guarantied it will also benefit in his fur making him all shinny Good for skin also...
